Your First Visit

On your first visit we will complete a detailed history and physical examination, to ensure your presenting symptoms are diagnosed and the best course of treatment is selected.

The initial history taking process will involve a set of question regarding your current symptoms and overall medical history.  The physical examination includes; range of motion, functional tests and specific neurological / orthopaedic testing, to determine the underlying cause of the problem.  In some cases it may also be necessary to refer for additional medical imaging (x-rays).

After the history we will do a report of findings where we explain the condition, the treatment and answer any questions you may have.

Each treatment is tailored to your symptoms and your individual health requirements.  Our main focus of treatment is using manual techniques; spinal and peripheral adjustments (manipulation) and mobilisations, trigger point releases, dry needling and rehabilitative exercises.
